The 2022 IUFRO / Forest Tree Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Conference

The 20th IUFRO Tree Biotech and the 2nd FTMB (Forest Tree Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) Conference will be held in Harbin, China, from July 7th to 9th, 2022. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be held online. Thanks to tremendous support from the organizing institutes and conference sponsors, we are pleased to offer “FREE” registration for all participants attending the virtual conference.
The topics of this conference include forest adaptation to climate change, tree genomes and epigenomes, wood biology and uses, genomic variation in breeding and genetic studies, and regulations and biosafety of GMOs. On behalf of the organizers, we warmly invite you or anyone interested in the area of forest tree biotechnology and molecular biology to participate in this exciting conference.
The IUFRO Tree Biotechnology Conference is the premier biennial international event that focuses on molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and propagation technologies of forest trees – in short, Tree Biotechnology! Now in its 37th year, the 2022 meeting (7th - 9th July, Harbin, China) will be an opportunity for the international researchers in forest tree biotechnology to communicate new research methods, research progress, and ways in which discoveries can be used to help forests adjust this changing world.
The 2nd International Symposium on Forest Tree Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (FTMB) will highlight the latest findings and breakthroughs in tree biotechnology and is dedicated to gathering scientists from across the globe to present and discuss research on genomics, epigenetics, biochemistry, and other relevant topics. This symposium is hosted by the Northeast Forestry University and was held for the first time in July 2018 in Harbin, China, where 382 delegates from 12 countries attended the symposium.
