The SILVA association, which brings together engineers, researchers, active and retired teachers, most of whom are specialists in forest ecosystems and tropical agroforestry systems, involved in the participatory management of natural resources and the development of rural territories, announces that it has just created a website at:

Other information on the activities of this association can be found on this site, including links to download the journal Le Flamboyant, of which nearly 10,000 copies have been distributed free of charge in some 20 French-speaking countries, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, up to issues 66 and 67 published in 2010. This magazine contains technical information drawn from scientific journals or collected from technicians who share their good practices and field experience in the "tree of the month" and "green thumb" sections. You will also find links to download the "sister" journal Les Feuilles du Flamboyant, reporting on the professional experience of tropical and North African foresters and on advocacy actions for the sustainable management of tropical and Mediterranean forests, whose latest issue was published in June 2019.
