Choosing a mobile or semi-mobile sawing unit

Abstract

UNIDO recently published a book entitled ‘Doing Business in the Wood Industry’, containing a number of factsheets on wood-related activities. The following collaborated on these factsheets CIRAD-Forêt, the CENTRE TECHNIQUE DU BOIS ET DE L'AMEUBLEMENT and the CENTRE TECHNIQUE DU PAPIER. We have selected two for the readers of BOIS ET FORÊTS DES TROPIQUES: one on the ‘choice of a mobile or semi-mobile sawing unit’, the other on a ‘pole manufacturing unit’; this will appear in the next issue.
