Une épidémie de kératoconjonctivite granuleuse ovine, d'origine chlamydienne, en Côte-d'Ivoire

Resumen

During the dry season 1990-199, an outbreak of ovine granular keratocunjunctivitis occurred in Côte-d’Ivoire. The chlamydial etiology was demonstrated. All flocks were affected, with a morbidity rate of 30 to 70 %. Lesions of keratis were observed in 5 to 15 % of the sick animals The treatment with Auréomycine (ND-Special, ophtalmic ointment) was constantly efficient.
