Abstract

A preliminary study of Setaria sphacelata’s enemies in farms of the Research Centre of Nioka (Zaire) has led to the identification of insects the caterpillars of which are parasites of the stubble. The frequency at which the stubble is attacked by caterpillars is far from being negligible. Several bird predators of seeds have also been identified.
