Abstract

For the first time in Senegal, Mycoplasma ovipneumonie has been isolated from pneumonic lungs of an experimentally infected sheep, fed with peanut cattle-cake contaminated by aflatoxin. Bacteriological characteristics of the germ are given. Factors having favoured this isolation are researched and discussed.
