Abstract

Total and specific Immunoglobulin-A (IgA) and Immunoglobulin-G, (IgG,) were detected and quantified in serum, ruminal and duodenal extracts of cattle naturally infected with P. microbothrium and controls. Using the Indirect Fluorescent Antibody Test (IFAT) specific immunoglobulin-G, may be involved in immune expulsion of paramphistomes from the rumen of cattle.
