It is good practice for authors to acknowledge support and contributions to their research in their published articles. This support can be financial, such as a grant or salary, or practical, such as the use or loan of specialized facilities and equipment. To do this, authors mention the funding agency and the grant number in their article, usually in the acknowledgments section.
The REMVT journal contributes to this effort of transparency by depositing the necessary metadata in the CrossRef Funders Registry, in the form of the unique identifiers (DOI) of the funders with, in addition, the associated grant numbers.
The identifiers of funders are accessible on the register of funders established by CrossRef (https://search.crossref.org/funding).
