Résumé

The present paper describes an improvement to the technique used in harvesting termites. To attract the termites, a clay pot is filled with a moist fibrous substrate. However, instead of making a hole in the termitary and covering it with the pot, it is adviced to locate the natural orifice of a termite gallery and cover it with the pot. Such orifice may easily be found under a piece of wet cardboard or wood being attacked by termites. Two to four days after covering it, the clay pot will be filled with termites wich may then be used to feed the poultry.
